- Monthly Live Networking Events so you can learn and commiserate with fellow economic and community developers.
- Monthly Deep Dive with a guest speaker around a particular subject or program that will help you do your job better. We will also break down complicated subjects and make them easy to understand and access. These will be recorded and added to the training vault for people to utilize when they need them.

I have been doing economic development in small places around Texas for 20 years. I am passionate about saving and developing small communities. I developed The Rural Spark so I could help small communities across the globe.
My super power is helping people and communities connect the dots. Whether it is connecting you with the right person or the right resource, my goal is to help make your job easier.
Every community needs someone driving development. If you aren’t the one doing it, who will? But, rural practitioners are becoming fewer and fewer. Communities are left with no one moving the needle of progress.
That is why I have developed The Rural Spark. My hope is to build you up with knowledge, offer some tools for your toolbox and a little mindset training to help overcome some of the tough things we face while serving the public. I hope you will join us in the membership.
