Rural development can be tough. That is why I created The Rural Spark. I want to inspire those who are in the trenches, letting them know what they do is making a difference. Without them, who would do it? If they leave, many times there is no one to take their place and the position goes away altogether. We need to do all we can to train, motivate and be a resource for our rural economic developers.
